Bayswater Facilities
A variety of shielded EMC test chambers are used for emissions and immunity compliance as well as calibration measurements. These include ferrite and absorber lined anechoic and semi-anechoic chambers which are complemented by an extensive range of test equipment permitting measurements up to 40 GHz.
These facilities are also used to conduct pre-compliance radiated emissions measurements prior to formal OATS or iOAST measurements thereby minimising customer costs in cases where product emissions levels are likely to be above the limits.
The facilities are conveniently located in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne at 52 Holloway Drive, Bayswater and are close to shops, accommodation and the new Scoresby tollway under construction.
Tooborac Facilities
The recognised OATS facility has an all weather testing area for 3m and 10m emission and calibration measurements. The facility includes a 1000kg load capacity turntable located in a non-metallic weatherproof building for rotation of items under test. The site meets the requirements of IEC CISPR 16.1 and ANSI C63.4 for the measurement requirements for C-tick (Australia/NZ), CE (European EMC Directive), VCCI (Japan) and FCC (USA) specifications.
The facilities are located in Major's Line Road, Tooborac about 1 hour drive from Melbourne's north.
Facility Hire
All test facilities are available for customer hire, on a hourly or daily basis at each location, for their own investigative tests. Professional staff can be on hand to assist with test facility and equipment setup as required.
