CE compliance testing

The CE mark is a conformity marking consisting of the letters CE. CE marking is required for products regulated by certain European health, safety and environmental protection legislation. Application of the CE mark requires compliance with various directives depending on the type of product. The more common directives include the EMC Directive 2004/108/EC (EMC compliance), the R&TTE Directive 1995/5/EC (radio and telecommunications equipment compliance) and the LVD Directive 73/23/EEC (safety compliance). Products must conform with all applicable compliance standards which are listed in the Official Journal (OJEC) for each directive.

Some of the most common EMC standards covering emissions testing and immunity testing for CE mark compliance which the EMI/EMC Laboratories of RFI Industries located in Australia can test to are listed below. There are many more and if the EMC standard for CE mark testing you require is not listed please contact us as we most likely can test to it. If issues are found during testing various EMC technologies can be applied to achieve conformance if compliance engineering assistance (investigation, consulting) is required.
