Industry Canada (IC) compliance

We can test to Canadian standards, but if your product has been tested previously and meets all the requirements for FCC or C-Tick you might not need to test your product again.

Industry Canada accepts FCC (Federal Communications Commission) test reports. If your equipment meets the limits set out in FCC part 15 (Radio frequency devices) or in the version of CISPR 22 referenced in part 15, your equipment need not be retested.

Additional requirements apply:

  1. FCC report should contain an statement indicating that results are deemed satisfactory evidence of compliance with Industry Canada.

  2. A cross-reference table between Canadian and US applicable standards must be provided with the report.

  3. Maintain records on file for the following five years.

  4. Comply with labeling requirements.
