EMI Receiver

9kHz to 3GHz

Messtec UCR3000M

Ultra Compact Receiver

EMI receiver and accessories, model UCR3000 M for EMI measurements. Powered via an internal rechargeable battery pack (making it ideal for site work) or via the mains supply. The sale includes the receiver, mains cable, charger/converter, SOFTWARE, RS232 control cable (No need for GPIB) and IC card.

The UCR 3000 M is the smallest "full compliance" EMI receiver for the frequency range 9 kHz to 3 GHz.

The receiver is equipped with the following characteristics:

Large display:

The measurement of discrete, wide-band or pulse-type disturbances takes place after normative determined evaluations (CISPR, VDE, MIL, VG) and with standardized bandwidths in a measuring channel. The measured value is displayed on the large graphic display. Both the value of the number in the desired dimension (voltage, level, field strength, etc.) and by overview display in the amplitude frequency diagram with inserted boundary conditions (reference values, limit values, probe values, etc.). The measuring flow can be manually or automatically selected in different representations (table, gate time, frequency steps, etc.). The measurements are stored together with the adjusting parameters in the receiver and are available at anytime for subsequent processing.

Simplest operation:

Over 5 function keys and a rotary button become:

- Standardize-conformal measuring flows

- Normative required limit value curves

- K-factor of the accessories

- Freely configured measuring flows selected

Inserted Tracking generator:

The inserted Tracking generator produces a sine-wave voltage in the frequency range from 9 kHz up to 3 GHz.

The output level amounts to 0 dBm at 50 ohms.

With the inserted Tracking generator can perform simple absorption and transfer measurement..

Analysis mechanism:

For the identification of emissions and of spurious signals the receiver contains an analysis mechanism (audio channel) and a narrow band spectrum analyzer

Audio channel

The audio channel operates in the frequency range 9 kHz to 3 GHz with different types of demodulation and bandwidths. Acoustic control at the tuned frequency by means of a built-in loudspeaker or external headphones

Spectrum analyzer (Video channel)

By means of the video channel emission data can be plotted and analyzed.

Software

The device can be controlled via RS232 with a PC allowing easy setup of test routines and results recording with the supplied software (EMC software package). Additionally the firmware update disk is also supplied.
